If you’re anything like me chances are your furry friend is part of your family and you can’t imagine having your wedding day without them. Here is a few creative ways to include them on your day!
One of my favorite ways is to have a dog of honor! To do this have your dog walk or walked down the aisle by a member of your bridal party. This is an easy way to include someone in your wedding party like a sibling, cousin or close friend. You can even have your pup wear flowers and get a fancy wedding leash to so they look stylish for your day.
If you don’t have any kids in your family and would like to have a flower girl or ring bearer. This is a great spot to be filled by your dog! They even sell ring pillows you can strap to your pup on Etsy.
If you just want your dog to be present for your nuptials but don’t want them to walk down the aisle. They can be a them be a guest of honor. They can sit in the front row and witness their humans getting married! This way your pup is present and you can snap some cute family pictures after! How often will you have the chance for formal family pictures with your furry friend?!
If your venue doesn’t allow your pup to be present there are still ways to include them! You can do signature drinks named after them! Another option is to have a doggie treat bar. You can give a treat from your dog to your guests. Etsy has some really cute templates for both of these ideas!
