Recently, I had the honor of working with Madeline and Jacob to help plan their once in a lifetime wedding at The Tinsmith, in Madison, Wisconsin! It was an absolutely magical day and truly looked as if it belonged on the front page of a magazine. (I mean does this not scream Vogue?!)

When Madeline and Jacob came to me they were looking for someone who could help bring their wedding vision to life. At first, Madeline was hesitant about hiring a planner because she had a lot of ideas about how she wanted her wedding to look and feel. She was concerned that bringing someone else onboard could compromise her vision in some way. In the end she was blown away and said “I truly don’t know how our wedding would have happened without her.”

Located in the heart of downtown Madison, this industrial‑chic space blends historic charm with modern amenities, making it perfect for couples who want a stylish, urban backdrop for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one location.
The modern industrial space fit right into their vision. The floral arch Madeline had designed by Briar Loft popped against the white walls of the ceremony space. Creating a stunning statement piece for their ceremony.

One of its standout features is the beautiful four-season solarium, a bright and airy space that’s perfect for cocktail hour, no matter the season. Couples also have access to a private bridal suite and client areas, giving them a comfortable and convenient place to get ready and relax. A Color Explosion Wedding at The Tinsmith
There was no detail spared throughout the Tinsmith. Their reception tables were lined with bud vases filled with bright blooms intertwined with mossy bunnies and garden gnomes. This was truly a day that was true to them. (Bunnies and garden gnomes are two of Madeline’s favorite things!)

The Tinsmith Madison Wedding Reception
They skipped cake cutting and performed a ceremonial donut hole toss where Madeline literally tossed a donut hole into Jacobs mouth. As Jacob dropped to his knees and “caught” the donut the crowd erupted. The rest of the reception was spent dancing to a playlist that is so good I wish I had it on my Spotify. To conclude the night Jacob pulled Madeline across the street in a wagon to their hotel while their guests blew bubbles.
Undoubtedly their day fit their personalities so well and set the bar for planning a wedding YOUR way. Which is the only way wedding planning should be because it is YOUR day!
